Vedashri means one who has knowledge of all Vedas. We chose this name because in modern life we all have forgotten the art of living with nature and animals. This is why we are facing critical health and environment issues.

We founded Vedashri after witnessing hectic, polluted and harmful life of metro cities. Modern cities are full of hospitals, ready-made solutions and life is full of comfort. However, they bring serious diseases, poor social connections and unhealthy environment.

In the mid of 2022, Chetan Mirani and Amy Mirani left Ahmedabad to settle in Goa with an aim to follow a simple, meaningful and fulfilling life.

During last few years when in our own family we faced several health issues. We realized that root cause of all the health issues were

1) Lack of traditional food items,

2) Lack of old traditional habits and

3) Lack of nature’s connection

Our kitchen and homes are full of fast foods, packaged foods and heavy dose of sugar. We forgot the importance of items like Vedic ghee, Forest Honey, Traditional Jaggery and Traditional natural sweets.

We also forget to live in nature and take care of our animals. In modern societies our cows eat what is leftover in plastic bags. We inhale only pollution and we no longer know how to grow our own vegetables.

We decided that we will go back to our roots, our traditions and live with nature by taking care of animals. We believe that if we take care of our earth and our animals then we can be rewarded with long and healthy life.

Through Vedashri we are trying to:

1) Protect Cows & Animals

2) Protect & Preserve Nature

3) Bring back traditional food

4) Adopt traditional habits

We hope that our aim and efforts will help everyone around us.
